CEIN CYBERSECURITY LAB presents diplomas to participants in its first two sessions at an event focused on deepfakes
CEIN CYBERSECURITY LAB has awarded diplomas to the participants of its first cohort, both in its incubation and acceleration programs. The ceremony took place during an event focused on deepfakes, where real-world examples and practical advice were shared. In addition, the second cohort of this program was announced, and registration is now open.
A total of 15 individuals and companies have received this recognition, which comes with an INCIBE seal. INCIBE is the organization that promotes this program in collaboration with CEIN, a public entity under the Government of Navarra. The recipients were part of the first edition of the CEIN CYBERSECURITY LAB, where they received training in cybersecurity and implemented these processes in their startups and small and medium-sized enterprises.
Registration is now open for the second edition of this program. It provides entrepreneurs and professionals with training and expert guidance to help them develop and refine business ideas related to cybersecurity. In addition, it offers specific services to support the growth and scaling of startups with cybersecurity-related needs.
Specifically, CEIN CYBERSECURITY LAB currently offers three programs. The first is an incubation program that provides training and support for the development and refinement of cybersecurity ideas and business models. This three-month program is designed for both entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
The second program, exclusively for startups, offers training, support, and specialized mentoring to help established companies with cybersecurity needs grow. It lasts three months. Finally, there is a third express acceleration program lasting 20 hours. This program aims to equip Navarran SMEs with the tools they need to address today’s cybersecurity challenges.
All information about these programs can be found on the website https://eai.cein.es/, by calling 848 426 000, or by sending an email to comunicacion@cein.es.
In addition, the CEIN CYBERSECURITY LAB offers a fourth series of events through talks and workshops that are open to the public. A case in point is the event held last Monday, April 28, at the Salesas, which brought together about twenty people to discuss deepfakes. The workshop was led by Javier Pernaut and Natalia Armendariz Eizaguirre, specialists from Veridas.
In this context, CYBER MENTOR DAY was also held, an event aimed at entrepreneurs, startups, professionals, SMEs, and consulting firms in the cybersecurity sector. CYBER WOMAN DAY will be held soon in collaboration with the WOMAN FOR CYBER association, featuring mentors and professionals from across Spain.
The CEIN CYBERSECURITY LAB program is the Navarre-based implementation of the INCIBE Emprende program, launched by Spain’s National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE)—an agency under the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Administration, through the State Secretariat for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence—and funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU plan. CEIN is a public corporation of the Government of Navarre that is part of the Public Business Corporation of Navarre (CPEN).
