Under the title “Cyber Mentor Days,” the public entity European Business and Innovation Center of Navarra (CEIN) organized two sessions on Wednesday and Thursday that brought together more than 70 people to discuss cybersecurity.

Over the course of the two-day event, entrepreneurs and startup and SME leaders had the opportunity to receive one-on-one mentoring from cybersecurity experts and gain guidance and examples of practical applications in areas such as risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and incident response, among others.

Thematic workshops have also been held, covering topics such as the basics of cybersecurity, attack simulations, incident management, and industrial cybersecurity, with the aim of providing key tools to strengthen security.

In addition, during joint meetings involving all participants, questions were addressed and challenges, best practices, and lessons learned during the sessions were shared.

This conference was organized by CEIN, a public entity of the Government of Navarra that is part of the Public Business Corporation of Navarra (CPEN). In addition, experts and speakers, as well as representatives from companies and organizations specializing in cybersecurity within the regional ecosystem, collaborated on the event, including: Meta-Data, Veridas, ANASINF, Sploro, Trust Identity Security Software, Intrepit, Discom, NAITEC, Volkswagen Navarra, ARPA Abogados Consultores, and the Navarra Cybersecurity Center.

The “Cyber Mentor Days” are part of the CEIN Cybersecurity Lab program, which combines training and personalized mentoring in cybersecurity for entrepreneurs, startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises. This program is part of the INCIBE Emprende initiative, under the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, funded by the Next Generation EU Funds, and promoted by the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), an entity under the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, through the Secretariat of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.

In developing the CEIN Cybersecurity Lab, CEIN benefits from the active collaboration of key stakeholders in Navarre’s technology, digital, and cybersecurity sectors, including Nasertic, the Navarra Cybersecurity Center, UPNA, Polo IRIS, and ATANA.
