Councilor Irujo closes the third edition of the CEIN Startup Leaders program
Thanks to this initiative, 20 people have been trained to lead innovative startups.
Mikel Irujo, the Regional Minister of Industry and Ecological and Digital Business Transition, closed the third edition of Startup Leaders yesterday afternoon. The program was designed by the public entity European Business and Innovation Center of Navarra (CEIN) to train and develop leaders of startups and innovative projects.

For her part, Uxue Itoiz, managing director of CEIN, highlighted “the success of a program that has now run for three sessions and involved 60 participants, all of whom have extensive professional experience and strong academic credentials.”
Startup Leaders in March with 20 selected participants (12 men and eight women), who have taken part in a training program focused on both the creation and management of growing startups and innovative projects.
Over the course of three months, participants had the opportunity to attend both in-person and online sessions covering topics such as the innovation ecosystem in Navarre, people management, business models, decision-making, sales, and financing, among others. They also held informal meetings with CEOs of leading startups to share experiences and gain insight into their day-to-day operations.
Similarly, the program participants visited Madrid to meet with representatives from accelerators and startups in the local ecosystem and to attend South Summit, the leading international entrepreneurship event.

The Startup Leaders program Startup Leaders part of the TechFabLab project aimed at creating digital entrepreneurship networks, in which the autonomous communities of La Rioja, Aragon, Cantabria, Catalonia, and Valencia participate as partners alongside the Government of Navarre. The project is co-financed by the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration through Next Generation EU funds.
