Strategy, Cybersecurity, and Competitive Advantage for Startups and SMEs

CEIN is organizing this cybersecurity conference as part of its commitment to business competitiveness, innovation, and the digital resilience of Navarre’s economy.

An event featuring the active participation of Navarre’s cybersecurity ecosystem: companies, startups, experts, and organizations working together to strengthen digital security and confidence in the economy—an approach that, when integrated into strategic planning, can become a true competitive advantage for startups and SMEs.

From Awareness to Competitive Advantage

Over the past few months, CEIN has developed a comprehensive cybersecurity program, funded by INCIBE, with a practical and results-oriented approach:

• Cybersecurity awareness and outreach.
• Events and specialized workshops for businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, and the general public.
• Integrating cybersecurity into incubation and acceleration processes.
• Support for small and medium-sized businesses to understand and manage digital risks.

This work has shifted the focus of cybersecurity from the technical realm to strategic decision-making, helping organizations understand its complexity and its real impact on the business. In this area, CEIN is wrapping up its “Cybersecurity Acceleration Program for Startups” with8 startups that use cybersecurity as a competitive strategy. Inthis regard, we’ll see that our startups have recognized that integrating cybersecurity from the start strengthens product and business model design, builds trust among customers, partners, and investors, and enables more robust growth and scaling.

This initiative is part of the CEIN CYBERSECURITY LAB, which involves the implementation in Navarre of the INCIBE Emprende program, promoted by Spain’s National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE).

INCIBE is an agency under the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Administration, through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, and the program is funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU Plan.
