The sixth call for applications HEALTH the HEALTH Accelerator, HEALTH entrepreneurial projects in the health sector, is now open

The program will accept up to six projects, and the deadline for registration is May 22.

The Department of Universities, Innovation, and Digital Transformation, through the public entity European Business and Innovation Center of Navarra (CEIN), is launching the sixth call for applications for the HEALTH Accelerator, aimed at entrepreneurial initiatives in the healthcare sector in the Autonomous Community of Navarra.

The purpose of this specialized program is to support entrepreneurs with innovative and unique business ideas in the health sector, as well as projects or startups that are in the launch phase or have been on the market for no more than one year. In addition, the participating initiative with the greatest potential will be recognized with a prize of 8,000 euros.

HEALTH maximum of six projects will participate in the HEALTH Accelerator; these will be selected from among the applications received based on criteria such as scientific and technological content, development potential, and the characteristics of the project team.

Those interested in participating in the Health Accelerator Health submit their application through the CEIN website until May 22.

The acceleration program will begin on May 26 and run through November. Over the course of 12 sessions, the program will focus on helping participating entrepreneurs refine their business models and develop business strategies for their initiatives. In addition, the projects will receive mentoring and specialized guidance throughout the process.

The Health Accelerator Academy is currently underway, consisting of three sessions designed to explore the potential of business ideas in the healthcare sector. The first session was held on April 28, and the next sessions will take place tomorrow, May 5 (which will address technology transfer in the health sector), and on May 12 (which will cover trends in the health sector). Those interested in participating can register on the CEIN website.

Award for “Best Project of 2026 from the HEALTHAccelerator HEALTH

Projects that successfully complete the accelerator program will have the opportunity to present their work to a panel of judges, who will select the winner of the HEALTHAccelerator Best Project of 2026 HEALTHaward, which comes with a prize of 8,000 euros to be used for the project’s launch.

The jury will evaluate, among other things, aspects such as the project’s feasibility and the existence of a potential market, its innovative nature, and the commitment of the development team.

In addition, the winning initiative will be eligible to join CEIN’s health startup scaling program,HEALTH 2027,” and will be able to set up operations at the CEIN Innovation Incubator free of charge for six months.

The HEALTH Accelerator HEALTH part of the CEIN HEALTH program, which provides specialized services to foster, accelerate, and scale innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in the health sector.
