The Department of Industry and Ecological and Digital Business Transition of the Government of Navarre and the public entity European Business and Innovation Center of Navarre (CEIN) are participating in South Summit Madrid 2026, a leading international conference focused on entrepreneurship and open innovation.
Specifically, CEIN has a booth that it shares with the startups in its ecosystem—Bi-Blade, HandCrafted Analytics, inBiot, Lera, Naxia, Patrimonio Fácil, Tairel Data, and Ysium Medical—which will be showcasing their products and services through tomorrow, Friday, with the aim of connecting with investors and new customers.
Participation in this event is part of the Tech FabLab project, in which Navarra is a partner alongside the regions of Aragón, Cantabria, Catalonia, La Rioja, and Valencia. It is an interregional initiative co-financed by the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Administration through European Next Generation EU funds.
In this context, a roundtable discussion was held yesterday in which representatives from the six regions shared the project’s results in their respective territories. Garbiñe Basterrra, Director General of Energy and Digital Transition, Business R&D&I, and Entrepreneurship, highlighted the launch in Navarre of Hirugarrena, which provides spaces and services to promote scientific, technological, and digital entrepreneurship—a facility that already hosts six startups and has hosted more than 30 events.
Basterra also highlighted other milestones achieved by Tech FabLab over its two-and-a-half-year history, such as the consolidation of the Open Innovation program, the launch of the Business Angels Club, and the international trade fairs that have helped drive the expansion and development of Navarran startups across various sectors.
