The company Ingredalia received an award at the “FoodTech Emprende Awards,” which were presented yesterday afternoon as part of the Alimentaria FoodTech international trade show being held in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) from October 6 to 8.

This Navarre-based startup operates out of the Innovation Incubators run by the public entity European Center for Business and Innovation of Navarre (CEIN), which has set up a booth at this leading event focused on food innovation, machinery, technology, and ingredients for the food and beverage industry.

Specifically, the CEIN booth (which is participating for the first time and was organized by the Government of Navarre’s Department of Industry and Ecological and Digital Business Transition) is located in the FoodTech Innovarena area, designed to foster connections among professionals, companies, startups, and key players in the agri-food ecosystem.

Ingredalia has been recognized in the “Impact on Health and/or Well-being” category of the “FoodTech Emprende Awards” for its bioactive sulforaphane platform for the next generation of functional foods.

Two other startups based at the CEIN Innovation Incubator have been named finalists in the trade show’s awards. They are Uraphex (also a finalist in the “FoodTech Emprende Awards”) and Allbiotech (a finalist in the “Foodtech Innova Awards”).

In addition, other companies linked to the CEIN ecosystem, such as Greendur, MOA Foodtech, Nawattia, Nucaps, and Nulab, took part in this event.

The public company's participation in this event is part of the " Agrofood " ScaleUp program, through which it provides specialized services to help innovative startups from Navarre operating in the agri-food sector scale up their operations.
