Challenge 8. “Improving drying efficiency”
LIVERCO is seeking to improve the efficiency of its forage drying process, which currently relies on biomass-fired ovens.
The goal is to optimize drying performance by exploring various avenues: automation and advanced control of the kilns, digital process modeling, the incorporation of new drying technologies, and other innovative solutions. These improvements would result in significant cost savings and greater energy efficiency.
Expected benefits
Improving drying efficiency will enable LIVERCO to make an impact in several key areas:
Cost savings: Reduced operating costs through a more efficient and optimized drying process.
Energy efficiency: Optimizing biomass consumption and improving the thermal efficiency of the drying process.
Operational control: Enhanced monitoring and adjustment capabilities for drying parameters, whether through automation, digital modeling, or other technologies.
What are you looking for in a partner?
LIVERCO is seeking candidates with experience in industrial drying processes, energy efficiency, or technologies applied to the heat treatment of agricultural products.
The following will be given special consideration:
Experience in optimizing industrial drying processes: automation , advanced control, digital modeling, and new drying technologies.
Ability to implement technological solutions tailored to an agro-industrial production environment.
Expertise in energy efficiencyand the optimization of thermal processes using biomass.
