15 projects and companies are focusing on digital security through the Cybersecurity Incubation Program run by CEIN and INCIBE
The program, which launched today, will provide participants with specialized training and one-on-one mentoring to help them implement cybersecurity measures and tools.
Protecting critical project information, embedding security by design, complying with current regulations, and building trust among customers and the market are just some of the goals pursued by the participants who began the second edition of CEIN’s Cybersecurity Incubation Program today.
These include 15 business projects—some of which are still in the concept phase—related to cybersecurity or aiming to incorporate it from the outset, as well as established companies looking to implement cybersecurity measures or launch a new cybersecurity-focused product or service.
These initiatives, involving 21 people (17 men and four women), were selected from among the 25 applications submitted and begin today a program that will provide them with training and specialized guidance to support their development over the next three months.
The process will begin with an initial assessment of the current situation, during which cybersecurity experts will evaluate the cybersecurity status of each project. This will allow them to identify the projects’ actual needs and design a customized plan accordingly.
They will also participate in training sessions covering all aspects of cybersecurity and effective strategies for protecting projects and ensuring their success. In addition, they will have access to one-on-one mentoring sessions with industry experts, during which they can apply the topics covered and address any other specific needs or questions that may arise.
The 15 participating projects are:
- A project designed to help organizations implement artificial intelligence solutions while maintaining control over their own data.

The Cybersecurity Incubation Program is part of a broader initiative, CEIN CYBERSECURITY LAB, which involves the implementation in Navarre of the INCIBE Emprende program, promoted by Spain’s National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE)—an agency under the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Administration, through the Secretariat of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence— and funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU plan.
Support for entrepreneurs
INCIBE Emprende was launched with the aim of boosting cybersecurity entrepreneurship. The initiative seeks, among other things, to strengthen the cybersecurity capabilities of citizens, small and medium-sized enterprises, and professionals, and to foster the cybersecurity sector’s ecosystem.
From 2023 to 2026, INCIBE will continue to support Spanish cybersecurity entrepreneurs and startups throughout the entire entrepreneurial process, from the initial phase of identifying business ideas through incubation and acceleration. In fact, for over seven years, the Institute has been promoting cybersecurity entrepreneurship, as evidenced by our alumni network—a community that includes some of the most prominent cybersecurity startups on the national and international scene.
INCIBE Emprende’s initiatives and actions fall under the Program to Boost the National Cybersecurity Industry, which is part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (PRTR) through Component 15: Investment 7 Cybersecurity—Strengthening the capabilities of citizens, SMEs, and professionals, and promoting the sector.
