Hirugarrena, supported by the Government, CEIN, and the UPNA, is opening a coworking space for members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem
In addition, four new startups are joining this initiative, which is dedicated to fostering technological and innovative entrepreneurship.
Hirugarrena, a space dedicated to scientific, technological, and digital entrepreneurship promoted by the Government of Navarra’s Department of Industry and Ecological and Digital Business Transition, the Public University of Navarra (UPNA), and the public entity European Business and Innovation Center of Navarra (CEIN), has set up a coworking space for organizations and stakeholders in Navarra’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Among its other objectives, Hirugarrena seeks to foster connections between projects and startups and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, thereby enabling the creation and growth of high-impact technological and innovative projects in our region.
In this context, the designated area is aimed at organizations active in the field of entrepreneurship that wish to support the development and growth of established startups and initiatives: companies with ties to innovation and entrepreneurship, research and innovation organizations, public-private entities, associations, and clusters dedicated to business development, as well as entities that facilitate the search for funding for business initiatives.
The new admission process allows applicants, upon reservation, to secure one of the six available spots in the coworking space, as well as access to the common areas, with a monthly allocation of 40 hours. The admission application must be completed using the form available on the CEIN website.
In the two and a half months since this space opened, a total of 33 events have been organized, attracting more than 800 participants.
New startups
In addition, Hirugarrena is welcoming four new startups starting today: Amets Biotechnology, Biar Technology, Mirror Health Naubat Technologies. With these additions, there are now six startups based in the offices and coworking space.
The signing of the relevant partnership agreements was attended by Garbiñe Basterrra, Director General of Energy and Digital Transition, Business R&D&I, and Entrepreneurship; Ramón Gonzalo, President of UPNA; and Uxue Itoiz, Managing Director of CEIN.

Physical space and specialized services
In addition to physical space, Hirugarrena offers specialized programs and services designed to promote technological and innovative entrepreneurship and support the launch and growth of digital and technology startups. Applications for access must be submitted through the CEIN website.
The launch of Hirugarrena is part of the Tech FabLab project, in which the Government of Navarre is a partner alongside La Rioja, Aragon, Cantabria, Catalonia, and the Valencian Community.
