RiberAcción, the event to meet the companies, stakeholders, and startups that are innovating and launching new ventures in the Ribera region
On Thursday, September 3, “RiberAcción” will take place—an event organized by CEIN and the Government of Navarre, in collaboration with Diario de Navarra.
CEIN and the Government of Navarre will bring together institutional representatives, companies, development agents, startups, and entrepreneurs from the Ribera Navarre region at the “RiberAcción” event . This one-day event, which will take placeon Thursday, September 3, at the Lestonnac Center and is organized in collaboration with Diario de Navarra, aims to highlight the entrepreneurial and innovative projects currently underway in this area. The event was created as a platform to highlight transformative projects, share success stories, and showcase the role that innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration among organizations play in the region’s economic development.
The event will begin with a roundtable discussion featuring Mikel Irujo, Secretary of Industry and of Ecological and Digital Business Transition for the Government of Navarre; Uxue Itoiz, managing director of the European Business and Innovation Center of Navarra (CEIN); and Isabel Vicente de Vera, manager of the Tudela Agri-Food City (CAT); who will provide an overview of the business landscape in the Ribera region from the perspectives of industry and innovation.
Next, the conference will address the role of companies and stakeholders driving R&D in the Ribera region through a roundtable discussion featuring Rafa Loscos, president of AER (Ribera Business Association); Sandra Calvo Díaz, manager of the EDER Consortium; Álvaro Navascués Martín, head of the Infrastructure Maintenance and Construction Section of the Tudela Health District; and Javier Les, director of quality, innovation, and sustainability at Florette. The panel will be moderated by Pilar Tellechea, director of the business creation division at CEIN.
One of the highlights of the event will be the presentation of CEIN’s Innovation Incubators, where various startups and entrepreneurial projects will showcase their initiatives and their contribution to the economic development of La Ribera. Case studies from Ingredalia, Navarra Spirit, Nutripets, Bread Free, TDR Jobs, VEKTOR, and Darwin Biomed will be presented.
The event will also feature a special segment on women’s leadership, with a roundtable discussion in which female entrepreneurs and professionals from various sectors will share their career paths and experiences. Speakers will include Vitori Hernández, manager of Intrepit; Marta Bondesio, manager of Bondesio and Lavilla S.I.; Blanca Pérez de Arenaza Tejada, manager of Blanca Fotografía Profesional; and Ana Malón Jaso, manager of Ana Zuazu Interiorismo. The roundtable will be moderated by Lucía Nieto Sádaba, a specialist in CEIN’s business development department.
Finally, the event will feature a session dedicated to business success stories presented by some of the companies leading innovation in the Ribera region. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about their experiences from María Cuairán Calvo, director of the Plant-Based Products Business Unit at Alimentos Sanygram; Adrián Dobládez Láinez, head of R&D and software at Fuvex; and Alfredo J. Ferrer Lacambra, CEO of Vision Quality.
The program will conclude with closing remarks by Alejandro Toquero, mayor of Tudela.
Through this initiative, the Government of Navarre, CEIN, and Diario de Navarra aim to continue strengthening the entrepreneurial and business ecosystem in the Ribera region by bringing together the region’s key economic players and highlighting the opportunities offered by innovation as a driver of competitiveness and growth.
