“We’ve gone from an idea to a reality”

His product combines sustainability and tradition. Kike Juanto produces and sells organic foal meat preserves, made according to a traditional recipe that highlights the qualities of this tender and flavorful meat.

As you mentioned, the idea came about to add value to the sale of foal meat. “I sell directly to consumers, and in this recipe we use parts of the foal that are more abundant and difficult to sell as whole cuts. Currently, this product is not produced organically in Europe.” 

His participation in CEIN’s Agrofood Accelerator in 2025 was key to turning that initial idea into a structured project ready for implementation. “We’ve gone from an idea to a reality; I’ve learned a lot, and now all that’s left is to start production,” he explains. 

In this new phase—the launch of production—the project requires the acquisition of specific technology and machinery, a process for which various funding options have already been explored through grant programs.

Learning and support

One of the things Juanto highlights about his experience with the Agrofood Accelerator Agrofood what he’s learned throughout the process. “The amount of things I’ve learned… topics I wasn’t familiar with before, but which I’ve delved into to ensure the project’s success.”

She also highlights the support she received from the program’s professionals and mentors, noting that “their help has been boundless; they’ve found a solution for every ‘but’.”
