Launch of the 2026 "Euroregional Bio-Health" Award
A prize of 3,000 euros will be awarded to the winning projects in the two categories, Biopharma and Health Technologies
The New Aquitaine-Basque Country-Navarre Euroregion is launching the 2026 “Bio-Health” Euroregional Award. Following the success of the first edition, the 2026 edition will be held as part of the 10th New Aquitaine-Basque Country-Navarre Bio-Health Meetings (10RNAEN), which will take place in Bilbao on March 18, 2026.
The purpose of this award is to promote the development of companies in the bio-health sector across the three regions. Projects will be evaluated primarily based on their level of innovation, their growth potential, and their connection to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine-Euskadi-Navarre Euroregion.
It is divided into two categories: Biopharma(pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, dermatology, cosmetics, etc.) andHealth Technologies(medical devices,health, in vitro diagnostics, etc.). Agrant of 3,000 euros will be awarded to the winning projects in each category. Applicants based in one of the three territories of the Euroregion may submit an application in one or both sectors, submitting separate applications exclusively online by January 30, 2026.
The Euroregional "Bio-Health" Award is part of the "10th New Aquitaine – Basque Country – Navarre," an event aimed at companies, startups, entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and, ultimately, all stakeholders in innovation and research within the biotech sector of the New Aquitaine-Basque Country-Navarre Euroregion.
These meetings are organized by Health Navarra Health (NHC), Health Basque Health (BHC), and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Health Innovation Alliance (ALLIS-NA). The goal of this meeting isto boost the bio-health sectorin the Euroregion andpromote collaborationamong companies in the three regions.
The 10th edition of the event will enable stakeholders in the Euro-regional bio-health sector to participate in B2B meetings, visits to sites of technological and medical innovation, presentations on the challenges and key figures in the biotech and medtech sectors, and keynote speeches by experts on the European outlook for healthcare.
